Missing Oshawa teen located

A missing 14-year-old girl from Oshawa is now home, safe and sound.
Police announced Layla Shephard-Schmahl was missing shortly after 9 p.m. on August 23. They confirmed that she was missing from Oshawa, but might be elsewhere in the Toronto area.
The Shephard-Schmahl family and investigators were concerned for her well-being.
