UPDATE: Peel Regional Police said early Wednesday morning that the missing man has been found safe and in good health.

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 34-year-old man who went missing on Monday night from the Lakeshore Road area of south Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police say the missing man, who they identify as Justin, was last seen on Monday at about 9 p.m. in the Lakeshore Road/Haig Boulevard area.

Investigators say both they and the man’s family are concerned for his well-being.

Justin is further described as standing 6-foot tall, weighing 200 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a scruffy beard.

He was last spotted wearing a red hoodie and green sweat pants, police say.

Anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 905-453-2121.

Under a recently adopted new policy regarding missing persons and what information will be released via social media or to the media, Peel police now only release the given names of missing people when the news release is accompanied by a photo.

Surnames will only be provided if “there is an investigative value to do so,” police told insauga.com earlier.
