A 13-year-old girl who went missing this morning (March 6) in London is believed to be heading to the Toronto area and police say she could be in Mississauga or Brampton.

Minah Khattar, of London, was reported missing shorty after being last seen in the 1600 block of Hastings Dr. at about 9 a.m.

“Unconfirmed information was received indicating Minah may be headed to the Toronto area,” London Police said in a press release that asks the public for help in finding the teen.

Early this afternoon, Peel Regional Police took to social media to let residents here know that the missing girl “is possibly in our area.”

Khattar is described as standing 5-foot4, weighing 100 pounds, with shoulder length brown hair. She was last spotted wearing a black puffer jacket, navy blue Nike hoodie, black jogging pants and black Nike running shoes. She was carrying a black backpack.

Family and police are concerned for her well-being.
