Missing Burlington man has family worried

The 70-year-old Burlington resident is missing and police and family members are turning to the public for assistance in locating him.

Williams was last seen walking in the area of Prospect Street and Regency Court around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon (June 17).

Halton police say that Williams is “vulnerable” and they are concerned for his well-being.

He is described as a Black male, approximately 6-f00t with a heavy build. Williams is bald, has brown eyes and is wearing a blue plaid shirt, grey jacket, denim jeans and blue baseball hat.

Anyone with information about Williams is asked to contact police through 911 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca.

Halton police say a person can be reported missing at any time – there is no 24-hour waiting period. If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 911. Otherwise, you can report a person as missing to the non-emergency police number 905-825-4777.
