Update: Missing Brampton woman, 78, has family concerned about her well-being

Update: Peel Regional Police said on Friday that Joanne had been located in good health.

A 78-year-old woman went missing Wednesday in the area of David Street in Brampton.

Region of Peel investigators said Joanne was last seen on Oct. 25 at about noon.

“Police and family are concerned for her well-being,” police said in a press release tonight (Oct. 26).

She has a light complexion, is 5′ tall and has a medium build. She has shoulder-length straight brown/red hair and blue eyes. Police don’t know what she was wearing during the time of her disappearance.

Joanne is believed to be operating a four-door, silver 2013 Honda Civic, with the Ontario licence plate ALPS 747.

Anyone with information on Joanne’s whereabouts is asked to call investigators at the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 905-453–2121, ext. 2233. People can submit tips anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
