Police in a British Columbia city say their search for a missing man has turned their attention to Brampton.
The New Westminster Police Department says that the man, only identified as “Nishan,” was last seen on June 26 of this year in the Queensborough neighbourhood of the southwestern B.C. city located near Surrey.
Nishan is described as a 28-year-old South Asian male, standing 5-foot-6, weighing approximately 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a navy blue turban, a black and white letterman-style jacket, a white t-shirt, and a backpack.
The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for missing person Nishan.
“As the investigation has progressed, police have reason to believe Nishan may be in the Brampton, Ontario area,” stated New Westminster Police Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “As you move through the region, we ask that you keep an eye out for him.”
Nishan may be using public transit. If you see Nishan, police ask that you call 911 without delay.
