Missing 81 year old woman in Mississauga found dead

Police say they’re continuing to investigate after a missing woman in Mississauga was found deceased.
On Saturday, July 23, vulnerable 81 year old Nadiia Nikiforova was last seen walking eastbound on Ceremonial Drive towards McLaughlin Road in Mississauga.
According to police, she was new to Canada and only spoke Russian and Ukrainian.
“The ongoing efforts to locate her were successful. Unfortunately, she was located deceased,” said police in a statement on Sunday.
Police are investigating the circumstances of her death and have not publicly shared any further details at this time.
