UPDATE: Missing 74-year-old last seen riding bike in Oakville, Ontario

UPDATE: Halton police say they have successfully located the missing Oakville man in Burlington. He is safe, and officers are in the process of reuniting him with his family.

Police added that a Burlington resident was aware of the media coverage and happened to engage with the senior on a bike path. The resident then alerted the police with the missing man’s exact location.

Halton Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating and safely bringing home a missing Oakville resident.

On Saturday (April 27), police say the man was riding a red road bike in the area of Trafalgar Road and Dundas Street.

Investigators describe the man as  Asian, with a height of 5-foot-5, a slim build and grey hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a red jacket, grey pants, and a black baseball hat.
