Missing 16-year-old girl last seen in Whitby found “safe and sound”

A missing teen last seen in Whitby has been found, Durham Regional Police say.

The girl, 16, was last seen on foot in the area of Victoria Street West and Gordon Street, an area police said she was “unfamiliar with. She was back with her fmily Saturday and police thnked the public for their assistance.
