Minor collision shuts down two lanes in busy Mississauga downtown core

A minor crash has closed down two lanes on a busy street in Mississauga’s downtown core.
Peel Regional Police say those involved in the two-car collision at Burnhamthorpe Rd. and Confederation Pkwy. just before 11 a.m. today (May 2) sustained minor injuries.
Police say two westbound lanes of Burnhamthorpe Rd. are closed to traffic for the investigation and cleanup.
Drivers are being told to use alternate routes.
Update: Police report that as of just before 1 p.m., all lanes on Burnhamthorpe Rd. W. have reopened to traffic.
