This week, the Salvation Army in Milton received $40,000 worth of toy donations.

The delivery was made by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF), which has partnered with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) for the fourth annual Miracle on Main Street Christmas donation drive.

TJSF is a registered Canadian charity, that was founded by wrestling icons, Tiger Jeet Singh and his son Tiger Jeet Singh Jr., who is also known as Tiger Ali Singh.

According to their website, the charity’s mandate is to “promote inclusion, support charities, women shelters, hospitals and provide funding for public school initiatives such as mental health, inclusive classrooms, breakfast programs and literacy.”

According to a tweet from Milton Councillor Mike Cluett, the Salvation Army in Milton said that this week’s delivery will help more than 800 local families this holiday season.

Miracle on Main is accepting online donations, toy donations, cash and gift cards at certain drop-off locations.
