Milton restaurant hosting fundraiser for town’s Special Olympics

A popular Milton restaurant is hosting a fundraiser to support the town’s Special Olympics after they suffered losses in donated funds due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pasqualino – Fine Food. Fine Wine., a family-owned restaurant located at 248 Main Street East in Milton, is best known for its homemade Italian cuisine and award-winning wine list.

For every purchase of their homemade spaghetti and meatballs dish on Sunday, Mar. 28 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., 100 per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Milton Special Olympics.

The dish, which contains meat that was donated by Adonis’ meat manager, Carlo Meleca and store manager, Ismail Alkhatib, costs $35.00, comes with homemade bread and serves two people.

“It is personally rewarding for Maria, myself and my family to help raise funds for the Milton Special Olympics,” said Domenic Pasqualino, who owns Pasqualino – Fine Food. Fine Wine., along with his wife, Maria.

“The benefits to the young athletes are priceless thanks to the dedication of the volunteers who help develop confidence, camaraderie and a sense of achievement through sports. The smiles on the athletes’ faces say it all.”

The fundraiser dish is available for pre-order by calling the restaurant at (905) 693-1992.
