The Town of Milton is hosting a virtual community meeting for the Britannia Secondary Plan.

The meeting, which will be held Wednesday, July 7 at 6 p.m., will provide Milton residents an opportunity to review and provide input on the land use and transportation options, as well as supporting studies for the Britannia Secondary Plan Area.

Local residents are encouraged to ask questions and share comments with Town staff and the project team.

Town staff will be presenting three concept options for the area at the meeting.

Milton has initiated a secondary plan program and a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) process for master plans for the lands identified as the Britannia Secondary Plan.

The area encompasses approximately 1,040 hectares immediately south of the Boyne Survey Secondary Plan area and is included in the Sustainable Halton Plan, which identifies population and employment targets to 2031.
