Being exact has ushered a Milton resident into the millionaires club.
David Treadaway, 50, has filled her personal coffers with $1 million by matching all seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Oct. 14, 2022 draw of Lotto Max. He also won an extra $2 for his Encore selection pushing his total earnings to $1,002,002!
Treadaway said purchasing lottery tickets is part of his regular routine but quickly added you still don’t believe it when you win.
“I discovered my win when I was checking my tickets using the OLG App,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was shocked.”
He said he was so excited he shared his good news with his wife and his mother-in-law.
“They were so surprised as well,” he said.
Treadaway said his newfound fortune is a “life changer” and he now plans to pay his mortgage, complete some home renovations and go on vacation.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Lawrence Ave. in the North York area of Toronto.
