Milton Public Library hosting virtual author visit for Black History Month

The Milton Public Library will be hosting a virtual author visit for Black History Month.

The virtual author visit, which is being presented by the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton, Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) and Milton Public Library, will feature author Lawrence Hill.

Hill, who is the author of The Book of Negroes and The Illegal, both of which won CBC Canada Reads, will be speaking about his new book, Beatrice and Croc Harry, which is “a meditation about forced migration, predation, danger, trust and friendship.”

The virtual session will take place on Feb. 10 at 10:30 a.m.
