Milton man charged with selling drugs in Mississauga

A 31-year-old Milton man faces drug charges following an arrest this week.
According to Halton Regional Police, as part of an ongoing investigation, a person was seen conducting a drug transaction in the area of Hurontario St. and Eglinton Ave. W. in Mississauga and was arrested at the scene.
A follow-up investigation led police to raid two homes and a car in Milton where approximately 35 grams of cocaine, three kilograms of cannabis, and an amount of cash were seized.
Andre Henry of Milton has since been charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution.
The accused has since been released with a promise to return for a court date.
