Milton man busted for stunt driving on QEW in Stoney Creek

High-speed stop leads to weapons charges for 2 youths in stolen truck from Brampton

A Milton man has been charged with stunt driving after getting clocked at 166km/h on the QEW Niagara bound near Fruitland Road early this morning (May 19).

The 19-year-old instantly had his licence yanked for 30 days and his Volkswagen impounded for 14 days.

Stunt driving is classified as drivers caught driving 40 km/h or more above the speed limit and carries a minimum of a $2,000 fine though it could be as high as $10,000.
