Milton man accused of luring underage child, possession of child pornography

A Milton man faces several charges after an investigation by the Halton police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit.

The victim met a man online and the two began to chat using an app called Whisper. After several week of chatting, eventually the victim met with him in person. The suspect also goes by the name “Chance39”on social media platforms.

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, Trevor Green, 48, of Milton was arrested.

He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, making sexually explicit material available to a child, possession of child pornography, and luring a child.

Green was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the HRPS Child Abuse and Sexual Assault (CASA) Unit at 905-825-4777, ext. 8970.

All allegations of sexual assault brought to the HRPS are investigated thoroughly and charges are laid when appropriate.

Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.

There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, a victim can still report it to the police for investigation.
