Milton library looking for new CEO, role comes with hefty salary

Milton Public Library is looking for a new person to run things.

The library is looking for a new CEO/Chief Librarian in “an award-winning system focused on innovation in one of the fastest-growing municipalities in North America,” according to the job posting. The job salary range is $162,108 to 196,583.

The new person will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the board, staff, and community in the provision of high quality public library service to this fast-growing and increasingly diverse community.

“A maximum degree of latitude for independent action is exercised to plan, organize, and direct all elements of library operations to meet short, medium and long term and strategic planning actions and to achieve annual work plan targets within the established policy and financial framework established by the library board.”
