The Milton Menace won two out of three games in three days, making it an eventful weekend for the local junior hockey team.

While the team lost to the Brantford 99ers after the first game of the weekend on Friday, Nov. 5, the team came back strong for Saturday and Sunday’s games.

“Hard-fought game for the boys, but we fall short. Brantford wins this one 5-3,” said the team on Twitter following Friday’s game.

On Saturday, Nov. 6, the team played an exciting game against the Oakville Blades, in which they came out on top with a final score of 3-1.

On Sunday, Nov. 7, the team celebrated a back-to-back victory after winning the last game of the weekend against the Georgetown Raiders with a final score of 6-2.

“How sweet it is,” they said about the win on Twitter following the game.

The team will be back on the ice to play against the Brantford 99ers this Thursday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
