Milton driver dead in serious three-vehicle crash in Caledon

A recent three-vehicle crash in Caledon resulted in the death of a Milton resident, police confirmed today (Sept. 13).

Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, OPP officers and emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 10 near The Grange Side Road.

Two drivers with life-threatening injuries were transported by air ambulance to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the hospital the following day.

The deceased is identified as 50 year old Amarjit Singh Rai from Milton.

“The other driver remains in critical condition at hospital,” according to police.

The crash closed Highway 10 in both directions between Charleston Side Road and Olde Base Line Road for several hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigation Unit assisted with the investigation.
