A plan of subdivision that consists of two industrial and one business commercial block, a stormwater management pond block, a natural heritage system channel, woodlot blocks and a wetland buffer block has been proposed in the Town of Milton.

The applicant, Orlando Corporation, has submitted an application seeking several amendments to accommodate the proposed development at 8350 Esquesing Line.

The subject lands are located to the north of James Snow Pkwy. between Esquesing Line and Boston Church Rd. and are approximately 106.13 hectares in size.

An application has been submitted for a Draft Plan of Subdivision, a Local Official Plan Amendment and a Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone the lands.

Additionally, the applicant is seeking these amendments in order to bring a portion of the lands into the Town’s Urban Area and Milton 401 Industrial/Business Park Secondary Plan Area and redesignate the same portion of the lands as an industrial area.

As a result, a virtual statutory public meeting has been scheduled by the Town of Milton’s Development Services Department.

The meeting is set to take place on Monday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m.

While members of the public are being invited to provide their input to the public meeting, a decision on this application will not be made by Milton Council that day.

Those interested in participating may fill out the delegate request form. For assistance filling out the form, email the Town or call 905-878-7252 ext. 0. Forms must be submitted by June 16, 2022.
