The Milton community is invited to participate in an upcoming virtual event that will explore the concepts of grief, loss, the invisibility of grief in the LGBTQ+ community and issues that result from exclusion in care.

The virtual event will be hosted by the Centre for Grief & Healing Bereaved Families of Ontario, a registered non-profit charitable organization that offers compassion and care for individuals dealing with the death of a loved one.

It will take place on Nov. 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. via Zoom and feature a special guest speaker.

Additionally, the event will help to ensure that free, accessible programming continues to be available for all residents of Halton and Peel.

Donations will go directly to providing services for grieving children, teens and adults. All contributions will help find understanding, support and connection in a safe environment.
