If you’ve been itching for that summer heat to arrive as soon as possible, you’re in luck.

This week will start off with a warm and sunny Monday, with temperatures starting in the low 20s and rising to high 20s as the week goes on.

Highs of 28 to 29 degrees Celsius are expected from Thursday to Saturday.

“Thursday and Friday will feature mid summer-like heat with temperatures reaching the upper 20s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible, but most of the time it will be dry,” says The Weather Network.

Temperatures will be a few degrees cooler near Lake Ontario.

The summer-like heat will continue through the long weekend alongside a risk of passing thunderstorms, but it won’t be raining for most of the weekend.
