Michelin restaurants set for food festival in Toronto this month

A massive outdoor food event with Michelin restaurants is coming to Toronto this month.

Brewery & The Beast, a food festival that initially launched in cities like Vancouver and Calgary, is bringing a stacked line-up of local talent for its Toronto debut in just a few weeks.

According to the event page, over 40 award-winning chefs and restaurants will be present at an outdoor “grazing style event,” where guests can meander in the summer weather and at their leisure and sample some of Toronto’s best culinary offerings.

The event’s namesake is tied directly to the venue space, as it’s on the grounds of Toronto’s long-celebrated Henderson Brewing Co.

Which means that apart from sampling the city’s best eats, guests can also anticipate a huge selection of popular beers being offered up in the brewery, perfect for cooling off.

Among key players in this debut event are celebrity chef Matty Matheson’s The Iron Cow Public House, which recently debuted in Hamilton; the iconic Thai restaurant PAI from local culinary icon Nuit Regular; and the much-loved Cherry Street Bar-B-Que.

Out of all participating locations, a huge chunk are either Michelin-recommended or run by chefs of local or international renown, making Brewery & The Best one of the go-to food events of the summer.

The event will also feature a huge selection of DJs, and musical talent will keep the vibes going throughout the entire day.

Brewery & The Beast is set to kick off on July 26 at Henderson Brewing Co.

Tickets are available online.
