Right on time for Thanksgiving weekend, there are now more ways to be eligible for a refund if your GO Train runs late.

The Metrolinx transit agency says the GO Train Service Guarantee will apply to all regularly scheduled trips delayed by 15 minutes or more. Previously, the delay had to be caused by GO Transit in order to trigger a refund.

Special flat-fare tickets, including the Weekend Pass and Weekend Day Pass for unlimited travel, are not eligible for Service Guarantee refunds. Delays caused by extreme weather conditions will be ineligible for reimbursement.
