Snow storm Mississauga and Brampton

The forecast for the upcoming week calls for a couple days of sunshine before some messy winter weather approaches.

A messy early winter storm will hit the region later in the week, likely beginning Thursday evening.

According to the Weather Network as of Dec. 11, “it is too early to have confidence in the exact storm track and impacts, but we have the potential for a significant snowfall (possibly mixed with rain) starting late Thursday and continuing into Friday morning.”

More snow is likely during the weekend, with a chance of flurries on Saturday.

Temperatures will be mostly seasonal, with a high of 1 degree Celsius for the latter half of the week and a nighttime low of -10 C on Tuesday.

A more consistently cold pattern is expected for the week before Christmas and continuing through the end of December, the Weather Network says.
