Memory of ‘Elvis Little’ honoured at upcoming show in Niagara Falls

Pat Di Simine, who passed away suddenly on February 25, long performed as Little Elvis. He will be honoured with a show this weekend in Niagara Falls.

The show must go on! A rock and country show that was being organized by the late Pat Di Simine will be carried on by others this weekend in Niagara Falls.

The Rock ‘n’ Country Explosion show will hit the stage at the Delphi Banquet Hall (4414 Portage Rd) on April 1 with the doors opening at 4:30 pm, the dinner at 5 pm and the show starting at 6:30 pm.

Di Simine, who passed away suddenly on February 25, long performed as “Elvis Little” and was lauded for doing a pretty slick Tom Jones tribute, as well.

Fellow Elvis tribute artists, Jay Zanier, Shon Carroll and Eddie Prince will pay musical tributes to Di Simine in the show, which will also feature the music of Garth Brooks and Dean Martin, backed by the Koasters Show Band.

Local DJ Chuck Lafleur of Niagara Falls radio stations Giant FM and Country89 will be the night’s emcee.

In his memorial, it noted that Di Simine “chose a life in entertainment where he excelled as a singer/songwriter. He was a humble, loyal man. He cherished the people in his life and put other’s before himself, even to his own detriment. His smile lit up a room. He was a kind soul with a strong sense of calm. He was true to himself throughout his life.”
