May 16 Weather: Mix of sun and clouds with some rain in southern Ontario

Southern Ontario residents will wake up Thursday morning (May 16) to some early morning fog, but then it’s a mix of sun and clouds for most of the day.

Fog patches will dissipate in the morning, before becoming a mix of sun and clouds around noon, according to the latest forecast by Environment Canada.

There will be a 30 percent chance of showers in the afternoon.

Temperature will remain comfortable with a high of 23 degrees Celsius expected during the day. The Humidex will be 26 and the UV index will be seven or high.

The evening hours will also see a 30 percent chance of showers early on and then fog patches are set to roll in after midnight.

The overnight low is expected to be 12 degrees Celsius.

Sunrise comes a minute earlier at 5:53 a.m. while we will also get an extra minute of sunlight with the sun to set at 8:38 p.m.
