May 15 Weather: Mainly cloudy day and night expected for southern Ontario

The clouds aren’t going anywhere, but the chance of showers lessens on Wednesday (May 15) for those in Mississauga and across southern Ontario.

The day will be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon, half the risk of the wet stuff that was expected Tuesday, according to the latest forecast from Environment Canada.

Temperatures are rising as highs will reach a balmy 22 degrees Celsius. The Humidex will be 26 with the UV index at 7 or high.

The mainly cloudy skies will remain through the evening hours with a 30 per cent chance of rain early on in the night. A low of 13 C is expected.

Sunrise comes a minute earlier than Tuesday at 5:54 a.m. while will get a couple of extra minutes of sunlight with the sun to set at 8:37 p.m.
