Massively popular American clothing store is opening at Square One in Mississauga

A well-known American clothing brand is opening a store inside Mississauga’s Square One.
Abercrombie and Fitch, known for its sophisticated yet relaxed aesthetic that combines comfort with a contemporary look, is getting ready to open its newest location.
The store sells casual wear such as jeans, sweaters, dresses, outerwear and various accessories.
According to the Abercrombie & Fitch website, the company was originally founded by David Abercrombie in 1892, and at the time, specialized in high-quality fishing and hunting gear.
After Ezra Fitch joined the company in 1904, it transformed into a broader lifestyle brand.

Interestingly, the brand reportedly went on to create clothing for notable figures such as Theodore Roosevelt and Amelia Earhart.
Today, the retailer offers apparel and accessories for men, women, and kids under its sister companies, which include Abercrombie Kids, Hollister, and Gilly Hicks.
Abercrombie & Fitch notes that each of its stores strives to offer products that not only maintain enduring quality and exceptional comfort but also enable consumers to express their individual style and identity.
Abercrombie & Fitch operates over 750 stores globally, including four in Ontario with locations in Sherway Gardens Shopping Centre and CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
The signage at the upcoming store in Mississauga displays “coming soon,” but no official opening date has been confirmed.
It’s uncertain whether the store will be ready by late spring, summer, or even later. Shoppers looking forward to the store’s launch should keep an eye out for updates.
