Many Ontario LOTTO MAX players are ending the holiday season on a high note after several major prizes were won across the province in the Boxing Day draw on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025.
While no one claimed the top jackpot, multiple MAXMILLIONS and ENCORE prizes were sold in communities across Ontario, putting millions of dollars into the hands of lucky ticket holders as the year comes to a close.

$1 million MAXMILLIONS prizes
Niagara Falls – one $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket
Oshawa – one $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket
Mississauga – one $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket
Oakville – one $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket
OLG.ca (online) – one $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket (winner already notified)
$500,000 MAXMILLIONS prizes
Milton – one $500,000 MAXMILLIONS ticket (split with a ticket sold in Western Canada)
Ottawa – one $500,000 MAXMILLIONS ticket (split with a ticket sold in British Columbia)
Prince Edward County / Hastings area – one $500,000 MAXMILLIONS ticket (split with a ticket sold in Atlantic Canada)
ENCORE prize
Wellington County area – one ENCORE ticket worth $100,000
Players are encouraged to check their tickets as soon as possible using the OLG app or by visiting an authorized retailer.
Looking ahead, anticipation is building for the final LOTTO MAX draw of 2025, scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 30. The draw will feature an $80 million jackpot and an estimated 49 MAXMILLIONS prizes worth $1 million each, for a total top prize pool of approximately $129 million.
Tickets for the Dec. 30 draw can be purchased online or at authorized retailers until 10:30 p.m. on draw night.
Since LOTTO MAX launched in 2009, Ontario players have won more than $9.5 billion, including 117 jackpot wins and 980 MAXMILLIONS prizes across the province. LOTTO MAX costs $5 per play, with draws held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
