Massive Seven-Vehicle Crash Happens on the 401 in Mississauga

Two people are facing serious injuries after a disastrous seven-vehicle crash took place on Highway 401 in Mississauga late Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. near Dixie Road, CTV News reports. In addition to the two people who were seriously injured, two others sustained minor injuries, according to Sgt. Kerry Schmidt of the Ontario Provincial Police.
While police investigate, the eastbound collectors lanes on Highway 401 have been closed at Dixie Road, along with the southbound Highway 410 ramp onto the eastbound collector lanes of Highway 401.
