Power has been fully restored in Mississauga.

A massive power outage in Mississauga has left approximately 5,242 homes and businesses without electricity this evening (August 1).

Alectra Utilities reported that the outage is affecting the vicinity of Matheson Blvd to Highway 403 and Terry Fox Way to Highway 403.

A crew has been dispatched to assess the situation, according to authorities.

However, the estimated time of restoration is yet to be determined.
