Massive power outage affects 3,000 homes and businesses in Brampton

A major power outage is in effect in Brampton this morning (September 6).

Alectra reported at 11:36 a.m. that approximately 3,000 homes and businesses are affected in the area of Heritage Rd to Highway 410 and Steeles Ave W to Williams Pkwy.

The cause of the outage is being investigated.

There is currently no estimated time for when power will return.
