Mississauga power outage leaves nearly 4,000 homes, businesses in the dark

Many Brampton residents are without power this morning (March 21).

As of 10:19 a.m., Alectra Utilities says a widespread outage is affecting 4,337 homes and businesses in the area of Countryside Drive to Clarence Street and Main Street to Dixie Road.

The cause of the outage is currently being investigated.

Crews have been dispatched and power is estimated to return in approximately three hours.
