The ribbon has been cut on one of the largest Apple Store locations in Canada now open at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga — the only store in Canada with an Apple Pickup station.

The new, larger Apple Store location in Square One opened its doors last week after insauga.com reported the previous location on the mall’s second level near Holt Renfrew would be moving.

Now serving shoppers in the larger space, the Apple Store is located on Level 2 beside Levi’s and above Food Central.

With 28 locations across Canada, the new Mississauga Apple Store is one of the largest in the country, but still smaller than the company’s flagship store in downtown Vancouver.

Apple says the store has product specialists on hand to answer questions and technical support available at the Genius Bar. The new location is also the first and only Apple Store in Canada with a dedicated Apple Pickup station, allowing customers to pick up online orders.

Customers can either visit the new Apple Store for assistance or make an appointment online to speak with staff and get technical support.

The new Apple Square One location is one of four of the company’s new modern storefront designs. The old location first opened in 2009 and closed for good on Thursday.
