Massive new restaurant opens at Square One in Mississauga

After a few months of delays, Mado Patisserie & Restaurant has opened at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga.
The new Turkish-style restaurant brings an international flair to Mississauga having more than 300 franchised locations around the world.
The Square One location is in the large space formerly occupied by Jamie’s Italian Restaurant.
Known for its wide variety of menu items that also includes breakfast, Mado has earned its reputation through its desserts and unique-tasting ice cream with a house favourite being ice cream baklava sandwiches.
But the owners of the restaurant say their menu goes well beyond dessert.

“Mado brings together several traditional tastes of Turkish cuisine and its own delicious tastes,” they say adding that appetizers, side dishes, and main meals are all are part of menu. “As well as the atmosphere! You can’t forget the atmosphere of our restaurants.”
The Square One location will bring to three the number of Mado restaurants in the GTA.
Mado will have its grand opening at Square One this Friday, May 6.
Restaurant hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
