Massive Gym Brand Slated to Take Over Erin Mills Fitness

It’s been a tough week for customers at Erin Mill Fitness, the sizeable and popular gym located on Millcreek Drive. A few short days ago, the gym announced that it had temporarily shuttered its doors following a dispute with its landlord.
But while the confusion was no doubt stressful for customers, it appears there’s no need for seemingly stranded clients to start hunting for a new gym.
On Thursday night, Erin Mills Fitness officially announced that the club will now be operated by World Gym.
World Gym, a chain with multiple North American locations, offers all the requisite workout equipment one would expect at a gym, along with yoga, tai chi, spin and zumba classes. It also boasts one other Mississauga facility, located in the city’s west end.
Fortunately for Erin Mills Fitness clients, their memberships are valid at the re-branded establishment.
“World Gym would like to welcome EMF members back to the club to enjoy the exciting improvements and to experience the most celebrated fitness brand in the world today,” the brand wrote on its Facebook page. “All current, up to date Erin Mills Fitness memberships will be honoured and accepted at 18 different locations.”

The facility will re-open today (Feb. 10) at approximately noon.
