Massive grocery store to open inside shopping mall in southern Ontario

A major new grocery store is coming soon to a shopping mall in southern Ontario, offering a one-stop destination for groceries and prepared foods.

Nations Fresh Food will be opening inside Oakville Place, located at 240 Leighland Ave. The store will be taking over the space of what used to be Hudson’s Bay.

The supermarket will span more than 60,000 square feet and is expected to open in the fall of 2026.

The brand is known for offering a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, baked goods and everyday grocery items.

In addition to standard grocery offerings, the store will carry a variety of international food products, reflecting the diverse tastes of customers across Oakville and the surrounding region.

Prepared food options and hot meal selections will also be available in-store.

Nations Fresh Foods has multiple locations across Ontario, including Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto.
