Milton massage therapy faces charges

A Brampton man working as a registered massage therapist in Milton is facing a charge of sexual assault.

Halton police made the arrest today, Thursday, June 13, following a complaint from an adult female client at Massage Addict, 9010 Louis St. Laurent Ave.

Stinderpal Singh Gill, 37, of Brampton was arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault. Gill is also known to use the name “Joey” with clients.

Gill was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Gill has been employed at other massage studios, including additional locations in Halton, Peel and York. He has also treated clients at his private residence in Brampton. Police believe there may be additional victims.

Sexual assault is any touching of another person without their consent where the touching is of a sexual nature, or where the sexual integrity of the victim is violated. A sexual assault can range from unwanted touching to sexual assault involving penetration.

There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault. This means that no matter how long ago the sexual assault happened, you can still report it to police for investigation.
