March 9 Weather: A hard rain’s-a gonna fall on southern Ontario

Rain is gonna fall on southern Ontario throughout the day.

Showers will begin overnight, according to Environment Canada sensors at Pearson Airport. By 6 a.m. sparser periods of rain will turn steady, with a 100 per cent chance.

This rain will continue throughout the day until well after dark.

Temperatures will remain somewhat warm peaking at 8 degrees by 6 a.m. It will stay this warm throughout the day but drop to 6 degrees by sundown.

Around this time, the rain will start to lighten up, moving from a 100 per cent chance of showers to an 80 per cent chance. This will continue until late that night and into the morning.
