March 5 weather: A warm and rainy day for southern Ontario

GTA residents had best get their umbrellas out as we expect another warm and rainy day.
According to Environment Canada, the day will begin warm at 9 degrees by 6 a.m. but skies will remain cloudy. By 8 a.m. temperatures will continue to rise, but the odds of rain will too. At that time there’s a 40 per cent chance of showers.
Temperatures will peak at 17 degrees by 1 p.m. At 4 p.m. the odds of rain will increase to 80 per cent and temperatures will begin to fall.
Showers will continue until at least 11 p.m. and temperatures will bottom out at 9 degrees.
Winds will remain low throughout the day starting at 5 km/h. However, they will grow in strength somewhat, reaching 30 km/h by nightfall.
