March 12 Weather: Sunny and warm weather in the forecast for southern Ontario

There are a few degrees variations and some locales might be a bit windier than others but one thing most of the communities around the Golden Horseshoe and southern Ontario have in common for Tuesday is sunshine, and lots of it.
Daytime highs will be cooler closer to Lake Ontario, with temperatures hitting 16 C away from the cooling lake effects. Neighbourhoods closer to the lake – and this is from Burlington around the lake all the way to Oshawa – will be around 10 C.
Hamilton is looking at a high of 15 C with stronger breezes, with winds becoming southwest at 30 km/hr, gusting to 50 km/hr in the morning.
Temperatures in Toronto and in Durham Region will top out at 16 C.
The GTHA communities will also share Tuesday night’s forecast of partly cloudy skies, with a low of 7 in Burlington and Oakville, 6 in Mississauga and Brampton, Halton Hills, Hamilton and Toronto and an almost chilly 4 degrees in Pickering and Oshawa.
