As more regions throughout Ontario have moved into Stage 3, the maximum number of people permitted at social gatherings has increased.

However, according to a recent survey, many Canadians priorities have shifted when it comes to social gatherings.

According to the findings, before the pandemic, the number one concern for nearly half of respondents—47 per cent—was having a clean and organized home.

Since the pandemic, 46 per cent of Canadians said they are most concerned about how their guests are physical distancing, while 64 per cent said they were concerned about sharing appetizers when visiting friends’ homes.

Additionally, 38 per cent of respondents said they were concerned about achieving personal interaction with guests given physical distancing recommendations.

Further, 76 per cent of respondents have concerns about entertaining in general, representing a seven per cent increase since before the pandemic.
