LCBO extends store hours ahead of potential strike

On Wednesday, the Province announced, in response to rapidly rising COVID-19 cases, select LCBO locations would be providing free take-home rapid antigen COVID-19 tests (RATs).

According to the LCBO, six locations in Brampton will be distributing the RATs, including locations at Airport and Bovaird, Mavis and Steeles, Sandalwood and Kennedy, Steeles and Highway 410, Worthington and Bovaird, and the Bramalea City Centre.

However, many residents who have tried have been unsuccessful in acquiring a test from some of these locations.

Additionally, there has reportedly been confusion among staff regarding when tests will become available.

On Friday, the LCBO did publish a series of tweets regarding certain locations that are currently out of stock for RATs, which included the location at Sandalwood and Kennedy.
