Man wanted for attempted murder after shooting in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are searching for the suspect of a Brampton shooting, believing him to be armed and dangerous.

At 7:42 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, officers responded to a shooting in the residential area of Brisbane Court, near Bramalea/Sandalwood Parkway.

Police say there was an altercation between multiple people, resulting in one male being shot.

 

The victim was treated at a local hospital where he received life-saving medical treatment for his injuries.

One of the suspects in the shooting is Moshe Samuels, an 18-year-old with no fixed address, who is wanted by police for attempted murder.

“If Moshe Samuels is observed or his whereabouts are known, members of the public are asked to contact 911 immediately, as he is considered to be armed and dangerous,” police said.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
