Man wanted for assault at hotel in Mississauga

Police request the public’s help in identifying a male suspect involved in a recent assault in Mississauga.

The incident happened on Monday, April 20 at a hotel in the area of Caroga Drive and Campus Road, where the victim works.

Around 3:00 p.m. the victim observed the man using a computer in the business section reserved for guests, according to police.

“The victim spoke with the man inquiring if he was a guest, which he confirmed he was not,” police said. “After a brief conversation, the man grew angry with the victim and began to assault her. The victim fell to the ground but was able to fight off the suspect.”

The suspect then reportedly fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.

He’s described as a white male, approximately 6 feet, with a medium build, between 25 and 30 years old. He was wearing a black jacket, red shirt, black pants, and a red and white maple leaf hat. He was also seen carrying a black backpack and black suitcase.
