Peel Police are responding to a confirmed stabbing in Brampton.

According to police, a Peel Police officer was flagged down around 4:47 p.m for someone needing assistance.
One person was located with a stab wound. The male has now been transported to a trauma unit with serious injuries.
The incident occurred in the area of Main Street North and Church Street East. Northbound Main Streetand curb lane from Church Street is blocked.
Police have yet to report further details.
