Man struck and killed in a collision in Brampton

A pedestrian has died in a collision in Brampton this morning.
The man was hit by a vehicle at Mississauga Road and Williams Parkway in Brampton today around 7 a.m. (April 11), Peel Regional Police said.
The man was transported to hospital where he later died, police said.
The vehicle remained at the scene of the collision, police added.
The Major Collision Bureau is now investigating.
Roads were closed in the area but have since reopened, police said.
